again, i have to say – i have awesome coworkers! julie is a peach and i was thrilled to be able to work with her for a special gift for her sister’s 50th birthday! i had SO much to work with, making this doodle a ton of fun to work on. bear and ilya – two of the happiest dogs around -  are very pleased to hang out in the backyard with beth and her husband gregg while he grills up some delicious treats! beth and her niece love a good game of skip-bo, so including the game was a must. some great wine, a south african rugby shirt, and OF COURSE – what happy gal is without her life is good shirt?

i know, i KNOW it’s been ages! but i’m mostly alive and kind of kicking.

i am very excited to share with you my latest doodle – my very awesome cousin spencer! :)

spenc is a snowboarding, dj-ing, fun-loving, all around excellent dude & when his mom, my aunt, asked me to doodle him up a birthday present, i knew it would come out great. he’s always wearing a smile & his 2 doggies are just the cutest!

my aunt & uncle own The Boardroom, a really fantastic snowboard shop in Ellicottville, NY where my mom and her 9 younger sisters & brothers (ooy!) grew up. All of Janire’s kids are so much fun – they win all of the games at the summer picnics, they can sing, they can dance, and of course, they are all beautiful! Julian just turned 12. Being a 12-year old boy, it makes sense that one of Julian’s favorite things to do is play video games. Julian was so fun to draw – I doodled a video game controller the best I knew how based on the one on the family room floor at Jay’s. :)

I was thrilled to hear Julian loved his doodle – I really can’t wait for the rest of the kids to see theirs!

I’ve been waiting almost a month to be able to post this doodle of the absolutely fabulous Jasmine! Jasmine just had a birthday & finished her 1st year of college! She is very much into fashion, modeling & dancing. Her mom, Janiré – a former teen CoverGirl model, insanely hard-working single mom & bad ass Web developer (yay for computer nerds!) asked me to doodle her looking sassy so I figured a runway was the perfect plan! She just knew that Jasmine would love something creative!

Jasmine has 5, yes – 5 younger siblings and I’ve had the chance to doodle them ALL! Stay tuned!
